I recently re wired a boiler room and it was originally done with exposed mc. It looked like a plumber did it. The plumber wanted me to reuse the mc from the disconnect to the boiler. I told him it wasnt code and we had to use steel flex. Thats the way Ive always done it. The code book isnt to clear to me about the mc cable.Am I right about using flex or could I have used the mc? thanks!
