Extending 4160 volt circuit

I have to change location of a 4160 volt receptacle that is fed by 5000 volt non shielded conductors.The 2005 N.E.C.has restricted non sheilded wire to 2400 volt level.Anybody adapted non to shielded cable since this code change?
