Good afternoon, I would like a little help pinpointing the proper article/articles to validate the following scenario.
we currently have a 200A single phase 2/0 riser coming into an duplex apartment of a skyscraper, terminating into a 200A fused disconnect switch. The engineer calls for us to add 2 panels one each on separate floors of the space each to have a 175a main breaker. Assuming we maintain the 2/0 cable size as indicated by the engineer, we should be able to order a 200A switch with double lugs on the load side and terminate the 2 risers that way, no troft or detail necessary. That's my plan, however I need to know what article of code to reference to validate this for the building maintenance staff.
