That has been my experience with them. However, I do have some on the van....just in case. Although I don't think I've installed one in over 10 years.

Stuff like that is why I'm going out on my own before to long. Being made to do stuff the wrong way drives me nuts.

The preferred bailout may be shopping for another employer. It used to take weekend warriors about five+ years to stay busy doing electrical svc, but with more un/licensed contenders it may never happen, unless you also do plumbing.

The conduit comes into the back box out the bottom

i got into the exact same thing a while back on a remodel. it was in a brick wall and had 9 rings if i remember right. looks like fidos a$$ but i dont think its a violation.

For what its worth the clips are UL listed for grounding, green 'grounding screws' are not UL listed.

I find this interesting also. Just went surfing around and found no listing.

Is any "grounding" screw UL listed?
