Can you reference me to the code that states exterior gfci's must be stamped "WP"?
Take a read of all of 406.9.Can you reference me to the code that states exterior gfci's must be stamped "WP"?
ThankyouIf it is a receptacle type GFCI - the receptacle portion is what is required to comply with 406.9. It only says they need to be a listed weather-resistant type.
I don't think you will find any that are listed that don't have the "WR" marking on them though. That may be a requirement to meet the listing.
