Is there anything in NEC 2020 that would prohibit the installation of a 100BASE-T Data cable in the same raceway as power conductors so long as it had the same insulation rating as the power conductors, and is totally outdoors (does not enter a building)? The key here is that it does start from nor enter a building - it's between two pieces of utilization equipment outdoors.

Reference: 300.3 (C) (1) - (paraphrasing) shall be permitted to occupy same equipment wiring enclosure, cable or raceway so long as all conductors have insulation rating equal to minimum circuit voltage.

Reference 90.3 - chpt 8 not subject to 1-7 unless noted

Reference Article 800, part I (General) & II - (Wires and Cables outside and Entering buildings) - nothing noted in part I or part II that would prohibit. Part IV is for within-building installations and does not apply.

Thanks Tom. It looks like I am one of many that misinterpreted Art. 800 to include horizontal cabling.
Would it change your interpretation if I were to tell you this was an integral part of utilization equipment in close proximity? (725.1)

Even if it was an Article 800 installation the rule in 800.133 in the 2017 or 805.133 in the 2020 is pretty much the same as the one in 725.136.

As far as it being integral to utilization equipment, if you are installing it in a field installed raceway, I don't see it as integral to the equipment.
