I bidding my first fire job, well using FACP for a commercial building 2 floors, doctor offices, it will take 24 SD's, 9 Pull Stations, Class B circuits. Now going with your expertise, wich would be a cost effective (not cheap) panel that you recommend for this installation? All replies are really appreciated.

panels etc..

panels etc..

FCI and Simplex would be good ones to take a look at. You could go to their websites and check them out. Also Kingfisher, for transmitting.

Is there going to be a sprinkler system to put flow and tamper switches on? Along with FCVs with solenoids to be wired in? Duct detectors? Just wondering, good luck.

Two questions.....

Two questions.....

Is the system conventional or addressable? Likely it's a conventional system, but, this being your first, I thought I'd ask.

Should this panel incorporate a means of off-premises alarm transmission?

I think Silent Knight's line of panels is worth a look.

1st FACP.

1st FACP.

What is the horn/strobe count? also would look at the fire lite line. based on the present list a MS 5210 (10 zone conventional) would be a very easy panel to put in.

yeah I forgot to mention there will be 9 horn/strobes, building will be just 2 floors maybe 45' by 55'. ceiling would be acoustical. So how are your prices for an installation like this? Forget about where I am. please give me your location if possible. Thanks

Smoke and heat detectors in the shaft, elevator shunt trip module, etc.

A couple of things to consider if there is an elevater, but since you don't, you're lucky!!!!

Our local AHJ's also require standby battery calcs and voltage drop calculations for the signal and actuation circuits. Double check on those if you need them.

Good luck!
