Anybody have one of these crimp tools? I have a 9.6 v one and the battery's finally took a crap. Anybody know of a type of battery's that's fits in these besides the fairmont brand ones? They want 200 bucks a piece for them. Anybody swapped there battery's with a different brand?

most batteries like that can be repaired by batteries plus. most are internally stacks of smaller batteries so they just open up the pack and replace the cells with new ones.

Yeah, I have repaired drill battery packs and you can salvage the good ones in the string that read the proper
voltage and replace the bad cells. They are spot welded but can be soldered in.
