I have to repair a retrofitted commercial display fridge with a little 1/2 hp comp, but it was gutted and all the wires thrown out. i can do the starter wiring, but I was wondering if the little circ fan inside the glass case would typically be 120 or 240, since the compressor is 240. any tips on how to tell? thanks. Do they typically have 4-wire plugs?

"any tips on how to tell?"

I'd look up the manufacturer and model number of the fridge unit to see what was originally installed, and try to find the wiring schematic for it as well.

it was 120. All the original guts (and schematics) are gone, apparently. It is like a 76 pinto with a V-8 in it. And I am trying to make a suspension. It's up to the AC guy now.
