Fan Speed Controller

Hi i juss wanna know abt the dimmer used as fan speed controller. It's obvious that when v reduce the speed of the fan through dimmer the frequency r cycles goes up... is there any circuit availabe for the dimmer that alwayz gives constant cycles i-e 50 cycles whatever the voltage is present.

Dimmers do not change the frequency...they only change the effective voltage.

A VFD will vary the frequency for a motor. A dimmer only varies the voltage output to the device....the frequency remains the same no matter what voltage.
