Am I to conclude that you think that the section you referred to would require the mounting to resist applied force. I had always believed that a mounting that holds the box still and does not sag or displace during normal use was sufficient.

I don't see any need for far side support for bracket boxes. The UL listing does not indicate a need for additional support. If the stud is wobbling all over the place you may have to throw in the two additional screws that the folks who built the wall sometimes skip.

It believe you originally interpreted my post as a statement and not a question, but I appreciate your input. I did'nt know if the forum users where using these supports in all cases.

Not likely to pass inspection here in MA without far side supports, here are the ones we use.

Just the added speed when putting in the devices makes these worth while.
