The fault current calculator Mike Holt has provided is a great tool and much appreciated. With that said it seems the more I learn the more questions I seem to come up with. In performing fault current calculations for services I am usually fortunate enough to get XFMR fault current from the local utility provider. The calculator makes it easy enough to perform the calculations, however alot of times I have a lateral line drop from the utility provider of a certain length but I don't find an area in the calculator to figure the effect of that set of conductors. I would assume since those conductors are a part of the overall system it needs to be considered. Thoughts??
