Hi,
Does anyone have or know where i can locate the NEC spec for the federal railroad cable design? in particular, im looking for jacket or insulation material requirements.

Example: i have a four(4) shielded twisted pair cable assembly with nylon jacket. I know nylon is against the code, but i need to find this NEC code/spec to dig into a deeper question i have.

Im running out of ideas where to find this code/spec and i though it might be a good idea to check on the Holt's forum.

I am not certain where to look but does the NEC cover this application? There is this (below) but not sure this is being used for railway cars.

(B) Not Covered. This Code does not cover the following:
(1) Installations in ships, watercraft other than floating buildings,
railway rolling stock, aircraft, or automotive vehicles
other than mobile homes and recreational vehicles

The NEC doesn't cover railway specific applications in general.

3) Installations of railways for generation,
transformation, transmission, or distribution of power
used exclusively for operation of rolling stock or
installations used exclusively for signaling and
communications purposes
.
