I have to provide temporary electrical service to two buildings (a,b)
There is a pole located close to building A, would I be able to run a feeder from pole to building A and from there run a feeder to building B as long as the feeder is protected? or what would be my best option here.

To take Dennis' point a step further, let me ask who owns the pole? If the electric utility owns the pole, then the wires from the pole to building A are "service conductors," and not a feeder. That would change everything. However, if you land the wires from the pole to building A on an overcurrent device that provides power to building A, and then install a separate overcurrent device (downstream of the first) and run from there to building B, then this is an "outside feeder" situation, and is legal.
