We are installing the following: (4) single phase transformers. The primary voltage will be 2400v - phase to ground. The secondary is 120/240v. Transformer 1 & 2 will be fed by "A" phase, T3 by "B" phase, and T4 by "C" phase. The diagram for the first transformer shows (2) bushings. The transformers require surge protection. My first question is about T1's load breaks. Shall the load break also be a surge protector? If we use a feed thru load break, do we put a cap on the 2nd bushing? If we don't use a feed thru, does the load break on the second bushing of T1 have to be surge protected?
