Feeder cable entering drip proof panel

From an suspended Transformer, is the feeder cable to an electrical panel Tub with the 'drip" tray on top able to enter without an liquid tight fitting? The existing EMT enter the top via regular connectors... Cable connector has that gap when tightened though..?

Are you talking about a NEMA 3R panelboard? I think you need fittings rated for wet locations if it is a NEMA-3R panelboard in a wet location.
