Feeder Cable Lacing

I would like to know whether there is any code or electrical engineering criteria to determine when feeder cable lacing is required or recommended in switchgear. Its my understanding this used to prevent or minimize cable motion during a fault condition. Are there guidelines or restrictions of cable distance from end of raceway to conductor termination point in the switchgear?

Thanks

Pat,
I only know it to be required as manufacturer requirement for certain AIC ratings, and in some job specs. I have not seen it in any national codes, other than to comply with manuf requir.

Thank you. I will check with my gear manufacturer. I also attached a photo of a recent lacing job which prompted my interest in asking when is this required and what is the basis for it.
