Just something I saw recently, 3 phase 480v service disconnect feeding a panelboard with 2-500kcmil and 1-350kcmil on phase b all fused at 250a. was use-2 alum feeder wire, can you even do this?
Few possible NEC violations... 350 kcmil on a 250 amp fuses would be a violation, USE-2, if that's it's only rating and it's on the inside of a building, would be another.
Thanks for the response, this was all direct burial outside for a pump. Just never saw different size conductors coming out of one disconnect. Looks like wire should be for single phase with 350 neutral to me.
