I'm getting an old hot tub from a friend, a 2016 Marquis V94. The hot tub is 240V and specifies a max load of 40A with a minimum 50A supply conductor. I need to run 65 ft of cable from my breaker panel in the basement to the spa disconnect box outside. The manual says to use copper wire only but I'm pretty sure they're just referring to the section between the disconnect box and the hot tub due to risk of corrosion.

I have been looking for #6 4-conductor SER cable and am finding that aluminum is much easier to get locally than copper, besides obviously being way cheaper. Would an aluminum cable like this one be serviceable for my purposes? Would it be massively hard to pull compared to a copper cable? The only conduit for this cable will be the final 2-3 ft that emerges from the exterior wall into the spa disconnect box, plus a short indoor section where I need to route around a steel beam. Any help would be much appreciated!
