Hi everybody! Two questions I'd like some help with...
1. I’m installing a subpanel in a detached garage, and am running a relatively long feeder through conduit. Ground rods will be placed at the garage for the subpanel, neutral and ground will be pulled through the conduit, the N&G will be separated at the subpanel, etc. The question that I have is whether there is a code violation in having an accessible JB where the feeders are spliced. Of particular concern is the ground… in the case of a subpanel, isn’t the ground wire that would be run between the main and subpanel be considered an EGC, and thus doesn’t fall under 250.64c (continuous)?
2. It is code compliant to have a dedicated 20A outlet for the clothes washer, and 15A outlets in the remainder of the laundry room, correct?
Thanks!
