If you a situation where you had I Beams every 10' run the length of the floor above the suspended ceiling and you had a bank of say 10 conduits how would you determine in the estimating phase whether you would use beam clamps with threaded rod and strut or you would drill and put an anchor with threaded rod and strut? Obviously you would like to avoid the drilling method as this is more labor intensive. I am referring to the runs gogin in the same direction as the beams. For the runs going in the other direction I assume the only way is to beam clamp and run tight to the underside of the beam. Thanks.

What estimating software do you use?

If the distance was 10', reckon you'd have to plan on longer lengths of v-bar cut down. What size beam clamp? How larger are the conduits and conductors (weight) maybe doubled v-bar.... Maybe 2 clamps, 1 drill. Maybe more drill....
though to say.

By the way..how would this "accubid" know?
