In door application... If we want to make a feeder tap, the feeder length is longer than 25 feet from the point of tapping, which rule from NEC should we use? This is not high bay manufacturing building.

Unless you fall under the very restrictive 240.90, you are limited to a 25ft tap.

You'll need an OCPD within 25' if you're complying with the 25' rule.
