david luchini Moderator Staff member Location Connecticut Occupation Engineer Jan 14, 2011 #2 No, (unless its is an outside tap per 240.21(B)(5).) Feeder tap conductors are limited to 10' in length by 240.21(B)(1) or 25' in length by 240.21(B)(2), (B)(3) and (B)(4). The #10 tap would be limited to 10'. Last edited: Jan 14, 2011
