We have a project with a diesel fire pump package, which includes an outdoor enclosure with its own power panel. The enclosure is attached to the existing building.o The power panel in the enclosure feeds the jockey pump, items in the enclosure, and has a 120v circuit to the fire pump controller. The diesel package includes batteries that will charge the controller during normal operation. Upon loss of electric power, the batteries will supply power to the diesel controller and engine for min 72 hrs per NFPA 20.
We are trying to determine if NEC Article 695.6 applies to this installation. Specifically, does the feeder to the power panel in the enclosure need to have a 2 hour fire rating?

Thank-you

Nope. That's the greatest part of the diesel fire pump. 695.1 says that electric fire pumps are covered by the article.

No emergency power or fire rated wire needed at all.

It gets tied into the fire alarm for monitoring if failed.
