My question is : a feeder ( ONE CIRCUIT ) consists of 2 multicore cables ( not conductors ) it can be run in 2 conduits ( UPVC OR EMT ) . OR MUST BE RUN IN THE SAME RACEWAY ACCORDING TO NEC 300.3 .

Re: Feeder

If you meet the requirements of 310.4 the circuit can be in multiple conduits.

multicore = multiconductor

Re: Feeder

Thanks Don. So this sounds like a parallel feeder which would require the cables to be #1/0 or larger. Correct?

Re: Feeder

It is difficult, if not imposable to meet the NEC EGC size requirements when running parallel cable assemblies.

Re: Feeder

There is an exception in Art 250 for cables and conductors in parallel with an smaller EGC than normally required, if the parallel feeders are protected by ground fault protection, with the GF setting based on the size of the EGC. this exception was proposed for cable, but a comment expanded it to all wiring methods.

Yes that or having custom cables made are about the only options.

The cost of GFP protection may negate the savings of using cables in the first place. :(
