how can I calculate parallel set? I have 3 phase 300A main breaker an a panel that going to feed 2 more panels with parallel

Here is what I think you are saying:
  • You have a "big" panel, meaning one that is big enough that it can have a 300 amp breaker to feed downstream stuff. Let's call this one P1.
  • You wish to provide power to two other panels. Let's call them P2 and P3.
Questions:
  1. Do I have that part right?
  2. Assuming that is a yes, then may I also assume that you are not planning to run power from P1 to P2, and then from P2 to P3?
  3. Assuming that is a yes, then are you planning to connect two sets of conductors to the 300 amp breaker, run one of them to P2, and run the other to P3?
  4. Finally, assuming that is a yes, what are the ratings of P2 and P3?
If I don't have the situation right, then please explain.

OTHER FORUM MEMBERS: Please chime in on the likely acceptability of connecting two sets of conductors to the same breaker.
