Hi there.
I have a question pertaining to feeders and what is allowed to be running with them either on their support or raceway.
Currently I'm working on a commercial apartment building with 30 units. We are using SER cable to feed each unit from its meter to its panel. The SER cables run on the ceiling of the basement on a series of 2x4 wood studs.
The plumber on the job decided to run his gas pipes on our feeder supports right next to the feeders themselves. Some of the gas pipes actually touch the feeders. This has caused some issues between us the electricians and the plumbers. I looked under article 300'.11 but it wasn't specific enough. Can the plumber do this. I wouldn't think so but not sure. Please help. Im sure u guys can settle this!!!! Thanks, Steve@miele
