while using the above code, do we have to comply with 10 ft rule and 25 ft rule. Per 2017 code there is no mention of using 240.21(B), So that means we can tap any where??
and what is the rule for using sum of 125 percent of inverter output and Rating of OCPD protecting the feeder ( This means we have to up size s the existing feeder per this rule or installing OCPD at tap location will suffice and we don't have to upsize the existing feeder wires??

The tap rules in 240 still apply, the information in 705.12(B)(2) just tells us how to add the inverter contribution to the feeder contribution and apply the tap rules using the sum of all the supply currents.
