I have an existing multi-family dewlling, a mid-rise apartment building. There is one service entrance for the entire building and each dwelling unit has its own panel on an unmetered feeder.

The Owner wants to have a seperate circuit from the standby generator to each apartment to pick up the thermostat circuit and maybe the refrigerator or a single receptacle.

Is it allowed to have feeders from two sources (normal and standby) to each dwelling unit?

I believe 225.30 will allow that installation.

The rules that restrict the number of power sources to a facility talk about power sources to buildings, not to areas within a building. So you are OK there. Also, those same rules allow separate sources, when one of them is an emergency or standby source. References: 225.30 and 230.2.
