Questions about feeding these receptacles. Yellow highlights on column drawing are receptacle just for visual. These are existing columns with new furred out gyp board walls. The ceiling are exposed slab. We can use MC cable in wall but must use EMT on ceiling.

The way I see it we can use mc cable in the walls but I will not be able to get around the column as it is concrete. So I am thinking I will need to drop down from ceiling with EMT and hit receptacle then run MC in between columns. Is my non electrician thinking correct? Thanks.

That would work. Yoiu could run EMT on the ceiling and place a box against the wall coming out of the side of the box with MC cable. How deep is the furring on the walls?

I can't really visualize what you mean by the box on the wall with MC out of the side. Box must be accessible and sheetrock wall run up tight to slab.
