Am I seeing something wrong? Are they showing a gate jumper for a gate that looks like it would open/close? How the heck would that work? It wouldn't.

Is that for a fence near a swimming pool? Just curious. I want to make sure I'm not missing something about fences. # I'm always learning to. (y)

It works fine. We do lots of fence grounding at industrial sites. We typically try to avoid the cad welding on the posts and substitute with mechanical connections and only cadweld at the grid tap.

Gate Jumper - Burndy Type BD 18" Flex Braid with a Burndy GD and Burndy GG connector on opposite ends.
Post to Grid - Burndy Type GAR for the post and cadweld to grid.
Fence Fabric to Grid - Burndy KS Split Bolt for the fabric and cadweld to grid.
