Looked at a job today. They are looking at using existing Smurf that has a fiber line in already to also pull Romex from one elevation to the next. New one on me. I did not see any rating on the fiber. Other than wire fill, is there anything preventing this?

Dont quote me but I rember something about those being non conductive so it’s fine
That’s what I found.
Would probably need to be careful of damaging the fiber in any way.

Ya! I never done that but. But if the runs pretty straight with long sweeps that fiber needs. Then just lube it really well

I expect it would be a lot safer for the fiber if you could run possibly THHN rather than Romex.
