I have laid out a PLC panel for a client and they want to run a multifiber cable in an innerduct from the new PLC to a fiber patch panel. The total run is about 800’. The cable will come from within a building at the patch panel, penetrate to the outside and run on an outside wall for about 400’, then span around 150’ to another building then penetrate to the inside of that building. My question is: can the innerduct be attached directly to the building wall outdoors, or must it be run within a raceway? Thanks for any insight.

The Interduct for Inside and Pipe from bldg to bldg with compression fitting. You could then run micro-duct inside the pipe(Whatever size). But to answer your question, Depending on the application, you can hang interduct in J hooks on the inside, Or check and see how Comms reachs the farthest bldg and Use existing conduits possibly. Hope this helps!
