I will be conducting a project involving fiber optic cables and I have a few questions need to be answered before any decision can be made. What are the benefits of using armored cables in underground application in a signal stand point? Are there other benefits other than rodent protection and crush resistance? Are there special grounding requirements for underground armored cable inside RGS conduit? Any information will be helpful. Thanks.
