Fiberglass poles, any problems with them?

Use some 30 years ago, would be OK for resi, not on public streets where we used. We used some 15ft small diameter in a public park, kids would shake the pole and it would whip back and forth at the top as it was not very strong. Poles are probably better now.

I would expect that a fiberglass pole would tend to shatter rather than bend in a vehicle impact, which would limit where you want to use them.
We have some on our system.
They are classed to H6 so they are good for transmission weights and use.
we also have rust coated poles and galvanized poles, they all are holding up well.
As far as whipping, the poles are guyed so they aren’t like a light pole.
We have MANY fiberglass light poles (16-25’) in residential areas. Absolutely no problem.
I took some down that were installed some 25-30 years ago in a neighborhood.
