Does it take the same time to bend a 90 degree bend as a 45 degree? Thanks
No. A 45° bend is a little quicker (in general, not knowing what equipment you are using)... but only the bending part. Layout can be a time killer though on 45° bends and may take longer overall.

Thanks. Curious why could the layout be longer on a 45 degree rather than a 90

A 90 has a stub and tail at 90°. "Deduct" for bend mark is straightforward.

A 45° is usually positioned by the center of the bend. I think you can figure the rest, but if not let me know.

If one uses the bend then cut approach it can save time, but cost in waste...
