Can anyone suggest how they would calculate how much temp power to have at a new construction project? I was considering using the square footage and multipling by a set wattage i.e. 5 watts a square. :roll:

What kind of construction project? If it is just a single home, a 30 ampere at 120 volts service would be just fine to feed a couple of receptacles (one circuit to each duplex receptacle). If this is a large, multi-floor building, you may need more than one three phase service at 480 volts. The answer is also dependent on the equipment needed for construction (floor grinders, welders, etc.)
