Hello, I recently passed my first inspection on for two small appliane circuits in my home. It's understood that the inspector needs eight inches out of the box for first inspection. On final inspection. Is it neccessary to stuff all that wire in the box or can some be cut away? I can't find anything in the NEC (by the way was borrowed out and not yet returned to me). I would like to cut some away for an easyier fit. Can not get a hold of the inspector to answer my questions.
