Hello all. I appreciate this forum and hope I can find an answer here. As a drafter/elec. designer I don't usually do much troubleshooting except at home and here, I am at a loss.
Over the weekend my microwave recept. and the next one in line crapped out as did the 2 lights on the circuit. Long story short, I changed out the 2 questionable duplexes and ran a tester. First time it read "open neutral" on both. I redid them in case I had crossed something. This time it read "hot/ground reversed". Impossible, so I did it again and even cleaner this time. Again I read "open neutral". Every other light and duplex on either side of these read fine and carry a load. These two show current (though how much I don't know I didn't have a meter) but not enough to carry even a small load.
Am I maybe missing something here? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!
