I currently have a fiber optic line and fire alarm cables strung in parallel on several poles. Do I need to maintain a separation between the cables?

Between fiber optic and fire alarm cables, no. However, you should review the fire alarm equipment manufacturer's installation instructions for limits on outside overhead cabling. Siemens, for one, forbids it.
