on the nebraska contractors exam the question of listing from an independent or second party shall or can be required by ahj and code reference was asked, I searched and searched for this and can not find it for my life, test was based on 2005 nec.

have not aken a contractors test in 18 years and failed by 1 question, thanks for your help

that may be possible but does not fit the wording of the question as i remember it, would expect it to be in art 110 or article 760 although 760 addresses everything but panels and would refer you to nfpa 72 in 760.1

I think the mention of fire alarm control panel was to throw you off, and that 90.4 or 90.7 was the answer, unless this test included local ammendments that are part of the test (?) or you were allowed more than nfpa 70 for your test (?). can you recall the exact question ?

yes I was, but only ended up using the 70 ans 72.

I plan on taking the NICET Exam and guess you do need all those books from what I understand
