Fire Alarm Disconnect Switch

Hey gang...

Where in the 2008 NEC does it specifically say that the disconnect switch for the fire alarm system (connected ahead of the building service disconnecting means) is NOT considered as one of the six Service Switches allowed for a service? Or is it in another document / code book? I tried searching through past threads here, but couldn't find anything related.
