1. Not per NFPA 72 or NFPA 70, but check any local codes for differences. Usually the enclosures for the head end electronics must be grounded, and any notification appliance booster panels or other slave panels must be as well.
2. I am unaware of any UL listed conduit specifically for fire alarm. Fire alarm power limited cable is listed to UL 1424. If you install non-power limited fire alarm conductors, it's just like "regular" wiring, and everything in section 300 applies AFAIK.
