Fire alarm interconnection

Hey all,

Long story short, rigging an ansul system together with a small commercial hood. The Abdul guy did his thing up until the 2.micro switches. I know how to interconnect everything else except the fire alarm. He left me one 120v horn/strobe, but I need all three strobes to activate if either; the Ansul switch is pulled, the smokes do their job, or the other pull stations are activated. It's my understanding that most fire control panels and their associated NAC's are low voltage. So I guess my question is, how do I interconnect this bastard? Any help much appreciated!

You do not need a dedicated horn/strobe for the Ansul system if it is tied to the fire alarm control panel, which it should be according to the IBC and NFPA-17A. As Joe suggested, use the output of one of the micro switches to activate an addressable input module on the fire alarm system. If the system is not addressable, you can use one of the conventional zones for the alarm input, and if you don't have any spare zones you can tie it to the zone that serves the kitchen.
