Fire alarm panel power source

Is it must to connect FACP to A UPS system powe r source although the FACP has it is own battery?
is it required to have fused spur wiring devices or is it enough to be non plug able outlet?

The adopted building code for that jurisdiction will likely use NFPA 72 as a reference standard for this issue.

NFPA 72 Section 10.6.7.2.1 covers the capacity of the secondary power supply.

Typically not connected to a UPS in addition to the UL listed FACP power supply with batteries. The UPS is not listed for life safety type stuff.
