Anyone know for sure what NFPA 72 Says about power routing to FACP? Dedicated circuit, does not equal designated conduit run, or does it? Clarification would be great.
 
Nope , just the circuit has to be dedicated.

See(2007) 72.4.4.1.3 and 72.4.4.1.4 Specifically 72.4.4.1.4.1 and 72.4.4.1.4.2

Also review Non-power limited fire alarm circuits in article 760.

Do not know about 72, but NEC 2008

760.41 NPLFA Circuit Power Source Requirements.

(B) Branch Circuit. An individual branch circuit shall be
required for the supply of the power source. This branch
circuit shall not be supplied through ground-fault circuit
interrupters or arc-fault circuit interrupters.

760.121 Power Sources for PLFA Circuits.(B) Branch Circuit. An individual branch circuit shall be required for the supply of the power source. This branch
circuit shall not be supplied through ground-fault circuit
interrupters or arc-fault circuit interrupters.
 
Thanks, will have to see if scope call out expands beyond 72. On a military facility, and want to be 100% sure. Hard to pull a bullet back after you squeeze the trigger...
