Fire alarm pull station by light switch

Question came up about a light switch right next to a pull station for fire alarm. Is it a code violation?
Even though i dont like it and think its a bad design i do not see anything in the￱ NEC 2008 that says u cant do it. Am i missing something?

Never liked doing it but not a violation that I am aware of and honestly if someone, even in the dark, mistakes a pull station for a light switch they are likely beyond help.
