Are there any fire alarm men here??? I know I should read NFPA-72 more in details later, but I thought I should throw the questions here, some of you may give me quick and short answers. Here they are:

- What is the difference between below class of fire alarm wiring and their application?

1. Class A, style D
2. Class A, style Z
3. Class B, style 4
4. Class B, style Y

- Do we have other fire alarm wiring class besides what listed above? Thanks!

Class A, style D is an initiating Device Circuit (IDC)
Class A, style Z is a Notification Appliance Circuit (NAC)
Class B, style 4 is a Signaling Line Circuit (SLC)
Class B, style Y is a Notification Appliance Circuit (NAC)

Find many more in tables 6.5, 6.6.1 and 6.7 (reference numbers from the 2002 Ed)
