Please can anyone help with this:
Some of our equipment contain sticky backed foam sponge in the electrical compartment for sound deadening purposes. However, BSEN 61010 (Constructional Requirements section 9.3.2) specifies that thismust have a flammability classification of V-1 or better of IEC 60695-11-10, which I understand is harmonisedto UL 94.
A source of foam we have found has a flammabilityclassification to ISO 3795.
These two seem to use different thickness test specimens.
Would the ISO 3795 foam satisfy the requirement please?
