THE FIREMARSHALL SHOWED UP TODAY :(

WE HAVE EXTENSION CORDS THROUGHOUT OUR WAREHOUSE, THAT DROP THRU THE RAFTERS AND PLUG INTO THINGS LIKE A RADIO, FANS, ETC

HE IS TELLING US THAT WE CANT DO THIS

WHAT ARE SOME OPTIONS

WE NEED POWER IN SEVERAL SPOTS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE WAREHOUSE, AND THEIR IS NOT ANYWERE TO MOUNT A BOX, EXCEPT TO MAYBE SHELFS,

First of all, please turn off the ALL CAPS feature. It makes the post more difficult to read. It is also considered impolite, as though you were SHOUTING at us.

Secondly, you (or the building's owner) need to contact an electrician in your local area. The National Electrical Code does not allow the use of portable cords as a substitute for permanent wiring. What is needed is permanently mounted receptacle boxes supplied via conduit or other allowable wiring methods. We can't tell you where, or how, without detailed information about the building.
